Ed Martens began his career as a nozzle designer for solid propellant rocket engines at Thiokol Chemical Corporation in Brigham City, Utah. He later transitioned to a long and successful career with Siemens, serving as a project manager for water treatment equipment across the U.S. and in dozens of countries worldwide. After 36 years with Siemens, Ed retired in 2014 and established a consulting business that continues to keep him as busy as he chooses.

Ed and his wife, Judy, reside in the Mariana Cove subdivision in Loveland. Their son, Adam, also lives in Loveland, while their daughter, Ashley, and her family call Bozeman, Montana, home. The Martens family has been LTWD tap holders for over 20 years.

In his free time, Ed enjoys spending time outdoors fishing, hunting, hiking, camping, and golfing.
