Garret Maurer resides in Firestone with his wife of over 30 years. They have called Colorado home since 2005 and raised their son here in our beautiful state. Having retired from industry in 2024, Garret now serves with the LTWD Board as a first-time member.

Together, Garret and his wife enjoy time with family, hiking the Colorado outdoors, ORV activities, travel and camping across the United States. He also enjoys golf and fishing.

He is a seasoned executive business leader with a proven track record of P&L ownership and revenue growth across diverse markets in manufacturing and construction. Garret has built a strong reputation for driving results and fostering collaborative partnerships. His career reflects a consistent ability to translate complex operational challenges into measurable outcomes, ensuring both financial accountability and long-term organizational resilience.

Garret’s educational foundation in Finance and Economics at Iowa State University, as well as an MBA at Cardinal Stritch University, informs his hands-on leadership style, equipping him with the analytical and strategic skills necessary to navigate dynamic industries. He thrives in environments where innovation, efficiency, and accountability intersect.

Garret says his goals for the LTWD include ensuring processes and execution work to serve the district goals of providing an adequate supply of clean potable water for all members on an ongoing basis.
